Rail Hop'n Brewery located at 122 West Main Street, Suite 101B, Auburn, WA. Packet pickup will take place from 11 am to 2 pm on Friday, September 13.

Parking: There is parking near the the race site.

Awards: Placement medals will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female in the following age categories: 18 & Under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. There will also be an award for the Fastest LEO Male and Female. All awards are for the 5K only.

Schedule of events:
7:30 am - Registration and packet pickup open
8:50 am - Program starts
9:00 am - 5K Race and One-Mile Fun Run start
10:30 am - Awards Ceremony for 5K

Pets: Dogs are allowed at the race if they are properly licensed and leashed.

About the Race

Washington State has lost over 300 officers in the line of duty since it became a state.

Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty as determined by Federal criteria. C.O.P.S. ministers to survivors’ needs by extending a helping hand to stabilize their emotional well-being as others suffering the same loss can be of service to new survivors during their periods of helplessness. Our mission statement is to rebuild shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths through partnerships with law enforcement and the community.

Funding from outside sources enables WAStateC.O.P.S. to offer survivors professional help through meetings, training for those survivors who are ready to actively support new survivors, family workshops, training to police departments to handle a line-of-duty death, and to financially assist survivors to attend National Police Week and their specific survivor retreat. Fundraisers such as our 2nd Annual Back the Blue 5K are crucial to the success of our mission and the ability to help as many people as possible.
